A few new things- the first one is on a tee- how stinkin' cute is this astronaut? I love him! Gingham gloves? Yeah for space exploration! This is a 3mo JonJon. I just think the car is so "little boy" :-)
Someone asked for something "ballet-ish" I took ballet for 16 years- I don't know why I hadn't used this design before- I love it!!!
Sometimes you get so many "newborn" things when you have a baby I think it's a nice gesture to buy something for the next year. This turquoise gingham dress is so simple, but so sweet.

I've made a special birthday outfit for my BFFs girls for, well 5 years now! I can't believe Anna is turning 5! Her party has a blue and yellow theme so I thought this fabric would be perfect! Of course she wanted a bird, a rainbow, a ladybug and a 5 candle...hopefully she'll be happy with just the candle :-)
It's officially beach towel season...I have 15 to do for William's friends at school and 6 to do for my friend Diane this weekend.... Looks like summer is almost here!!!

Another weekend of sewing..... Here are a few of my new "projects" You guys are so great for referring your friends to my site- I can't believe how busy I've been...THANK YOU!!!!
A cute mousepad for Becky what a great teacher's gift...hint, hint, for all you mom's with kids in school :-)
ahhhh, the gingham chocolate lab.... I can't get enough of him!
Some red tees...even though the picture looks orange :-)- what a great birthday present for some brothers- thanks for the order Elizabeth!
You know I LOVE the twins gifts- especially boy/girl combos..... Thanks Becky!!!
This is a pink micro gingham check bubble- it's so sweet and tiny. I hope baby Charlotte loves it!
More stuff for baby Charlotte. I think this frame design would be cute for an older girl as well....
Such a classic look for a sweet boy... A good friend also has a son with a mild obsession with trucks- she found this great truck fabric on ebay, sent it to me and viola- "truck pants shorts"...well, that's what baby William calls them. He cried when I wouldn't let him wear this to school today 1) it's 57 degrees, 2) you're not Wyatt...he replied "double you"...which he knows starts William...he may be too smart for his own good! Thanks Sica!!!!
I also made three dresses- and ran out of buttons, so more pics to come soon!

Busy busy weekend again.... Well, I was "featured" on The Intentional Home and have received so many encouraging comments from complete strangers- yeah! Who doesn't love encouragement???? :-) Here are a few of the things I've been working on for the past weekend... I love being "sewing" busy!!!!
William's Day School teacher had a birthday- I though a koozie with a nice giftcard would be a fun gift...everyone needs a new koozie for the summer... Happy Birtday Kel-Kel- we love you!!!
Quick side plug... For any Franklin, TN people, if you are looking for child care- PB&J Day School could not be any better- I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!!...and so does William :-)
I love this idea for a "fall" onesie... Browning's parents are big UK fans.... Go WildCats!
A sweet little combo for baby Brighton....
Welcome baby Graham... Can you tell I'm partial to the circle with the lowercase letter? :-) Love that design!!!!
I must've been feeling slightly patriotic with all this red and blue....this is not for my William, but another lucky William. Thanks Harlan!!!
This is for a friend at school...she wanted pinks, grays, greens, and maybe giraffes. I thought, hmmmm, then went to Textile Fabric and found sooo much pink, gray, and green- so hard to pick just four....one even had a giraffe! Perfect- Thanks for the fun order, Rita!
I have a few tees and other baby gifts on the horizon...along with the winner from the Intentional Home blog giveaway...if you didn't enter go here!!!!

Spring "Break"

Posted by JTP at 10:13 AM 0 comments
So Spring "Break" 2010 has come and gone for me.... I told everyone I had the week off and I'd "just sew it then", hmmm, no break, but it was so fun to make so much stuff. There will be lots of cute babies from NY to CA to AL...and of course one special baby right here in TN- mine! Even William got a few new things this week! Here's a sample of what I've been up to this week! Busy girl!

Bubbles for baby Leah! Hurry up and get to Mobile, baby James, Katie and Anna want to have a playdate!

A special order outfit...This is a swing top that's gathered under the arms with matching bloomers... they take a little longer to make FYI if you want to order one. They are super sweet on a baby.

Lilah's ready for the Farmer's Market...

Onesies for baby Makenna and friends....

lime green and hot pink flip flops... I hope Abigail is ready for summer :-)

Channeling my inner Citadel cadet...if I had been a boy:-) steel gray gingham and blue- L-O-V-E

baby Adam is set to spit up.

I forgot how sweet bubbles for boys are when they're a size 3mo! Thanks Harlan and Summer....

tooo adorable... pink seersucker and flipflops- this screams summer to me!!!! Where's my sunscreen?

Loving this butterfly applique! A cute seersucker bubble- Thanks Mary Kent!!!

I was just told "pink and girly"... love this set!
Here's the bib... Reverses to pink poodles..ahhhh!
I still heart this alligator and love when people want him ... He was a lime green microcheck.

Twins! I love twin gifts! It's so fun to coordinate, but not make it too matchy matchy.

Excuse the avocado on the shirt...how do you like the new dump truck? He said "yeeeessss" when he saw it. From a 20mo I think that means yeah!

Three sweet golf tees. They also had matching shorts :-) Special order....
See- so cute right??? Thanks Reisha! Great fabric! Baby William needs some now!
Happy first birthday Max! Another special order :-)

A chocolate gingham lab- so adorable!

Baby Chesson won this a few weeks ago in a "giveaway." I should do another game...they're fun!

One of my favorite tee designs...
There you have it SB2010.... William was a champ to take such good naps all week and let mama sew! Thanks again to all of you who are passing on my info and helping me grow my little sewing business!!!! It is more than I could have ever imagined!
