Beach towels

Posted by JTP at 7:53 AM 2 comments
How cute are these? A friend bought some inexpensive beach towels and asked me to applique and monogram them for Easter baskets- I think they turned out adorable!
The gators are striped, polka dots, and a micro check- pretty cute I thought!
I'm also doing hoodie towels for bigger kids too ($20) Click here to see an example....
Another baby gift...the brown fabric was baby corduroy so it was super soft!
I thought these tees turned out really well. The mom had blue pants with a gingham trim to match the "S" shirt and pants with little purple bunnies to match the pink bunny tee...fun!

I have a few orders for jonjons, bubbles and dresses to do this weekend. I love making the baby stuff, but miss sewing "clothes" so I'm excited to do these this weekend :-)

This must be "baby shower season"...What a busy, busy sewing weekend. After being knocked out by a massive sinus infection I am finally back in the land of the living...or at least working hard and sewing a lot! Here are a few of the multiple baby gifts I made. I am LOVING the new design with the circle and lower case letter- luckily I don't believe any of these folks know each other so they won't know that I made a lot of the same things this weekend :-)
The back of the Graham bib reversed to green polka dots! The back of the Louisa bib was the pink flowers...
I love these with a reversible bib to coordinate with the burp cloth. blue and green seems to be pretty popular these days- I bought lots of cute green and blue dot ribbon to tie all these boy gifts up :-)
Could this bunny be any cuter???
I heart you bunny! A tee to help a new big sis feel special too :-) I just love this little Jack Russell Terrier- he's in corduroy! One word.... TWINS! I love doing Twin sets!
A baby gift for me to give at a shower for a co-worker tomorrow...along with a pack of Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive- I loved how the little stripe turned colors when they were wet...You know new moms can't figure that out- they're too tired! And those diapers are sooo tiny compared to the size 6 my 19 mo old wears now!!!
This is on the back of a hoodie sweatshirt... so cute for a little boy!

I just L-O-V-E this new design I found yesterday on etsy. You can also do the name through the center of the letter and circle. I just bought the 5x7 version too- I think that'll be cute on a tee. May have to try it out this weekend. Ohh fun! Contest!!!! The first person to leave a comment can be my "free sample" for a tee- just leave me the name and initial, girl or boy, what size tee / onesie and colors you'd like. Fun stuff!
Congrats to MelMel- she won and is getting a tee for herself- not her three kiddos... good for her! OK, I'll do one more...next person to comment..... you win!

More baby gifts

I made several burp cloths for someone at work last night and thought these new designs looked so cute. Check out the crab...He'd be cute in red gingham too....

I still love this alligator. I've gotten several orders for beach towels with this little guy on them.

This is just a quick shot to show you how ADORABLE this elephant fabric is.... I just love it! I have some more if you want to order something with it/ out of it. Just let me know. I'll probably stop taking orders for Easter outfits next Wed 3/24 - so be sure to email me if you need something!

Keep checking back- I think I've got a cute new applique for t-shirts with a single lower case letter and a name through the middle or under the letter- should be pretty cute :-)

Designs

Ok, I have finally figured out a way to get most of the designs I have available on here. They are all from Planet Applique. If you see something on the site you'd like let me know and I can try to get it. These are just samples so use your imagination when it comes to fabrics and color schemes! I have so many orders right now for baby gifts- this must be the season for baby showers! Thanks to those of you that refer my name on to your friends! Hopefully I'll have enough time to squeeze in a St. Patty's Day tee for William tonight- I can't believe it's tomorrow!

These "frames" are really cute on a tee or onesie with an initial or name in it!

Here are the alphabets I have for one letter on a tee or bib- the baby bet is just 1.5 in tall, the others are 4in. I also have a Valentine's letter set and each letter that can have a heart in it does- B, D, O, P etc....

The egg can be done in any color with an initial or several eggs together to make a name- cute!
